Healing Soul Work for Sexual Abuse Victims:
Help lift the taboos against talking openly about childhood abuse.
The roots of childhood sexual abuse and violence are deep-seated in the cultural taboo against speaking openly about abuse without censorship, shame or disapproval by others. Even the popular "spiritual" teachers of today side-step the silent world-wide epidemic of childhood abuse and keep the lid on tight by reciting venerated traditions that have sadly made childhood abuse a taboo subject. Other "taboos" such as Freud's drive theory, the Fourth Commandment to "honor thy father and mother" (*visit www.Alice-Miller.com) and traditional methods of child-rearing are three examples of how preached morality covers the healing process with secrecy. It is time to end society's blindness, repression and denial of childhood sexual abuse and bring the painful truth of childhood abuse into the "light" with open communication and emotional honesty. It is time to make childhood sexual abuse a vital "spiritual" subject that deepens our awareness of the long-term effects of childhood abuse and respects the courageous and challenging healing work that adult survivors of childhood abuse have illuminated as a place for healing to begin in ourselves and for the planet.
30% of the world's female population has been sexually assaulted, abused or raped.
Every two minutes, someone is sexually assaulted in America-
15% of them will be under the age of 12,
44% will be under the age 18,
60% of these incidents will never be reported to the police and
89% of them are committed by someone the victim knows.
80% of all female drug addicts and 70% of all prostitutes were sexually abused
as children.
It is estimated that one out of three women and one in five men will be sexually assaulted in their lifetime in this country.
These victims are more likely to suffer from depression and post traumatic stress disorder, more likely to become addicted to alcohol and drugs, have eating disorders, suffer in isolation and secrecy from the socially taboo subject of childhood sexual abuse, feel disconnected from their own sense of their body and emotions, feel victimized, helpless and take their own life.
*Out of the192 members of the United Nations, only 19 forbid corporal punishment of children.
Healing Soul Work™ can start the healing process in each person right now without waiting or postponement for "a better time". Right now is good enough to begin the process no matter if you're angry, sad, scared or "wierded-out" for wondering if you've been sexually abused. Whatever you are feeling, you can discover more choices to unfold your own healer and teacher within without having to wait for "a better time." You have the ability to express your emotions as your own in a therapeutic process that can deepen your trust, willingness and courage in your daily life. You have the ability to discover new ways to nurture your life and deactivate the abuse tape loops with new conscious choices. You can embrace your body and stay connected to your self in new and passionate places that are both known and unknown parts of your unique sense of your self as an autonomous person.
You are not alone. You do not need to keep any secrets or protect/forgive any perpetrator of the abuse. Your courage brings more consciousness to your own history and helps awakens a new social attitude of responsibility towards the safety of children.
Everything I teach, talk and channel is a reflection of the trust, courage and willingness to make new conscious choices that are not based on any beliefs or religious traditions but unfold new skills and tools everyone needs to heal from trauma, habits and addictions. I am hopeful that more therapists, counselors, healers and teachers will begin to understand the critical need for people to begin their own unique healing work and include the depth or soul work needed to get people re-connected to their real physical bodies and emotions and discover a new rich menu of choices about what it means to be a mature, passionate, "regular" human being.

Project LightBody Workshop for Sexual Abuse Victims
One day workshop for women or men that brings stability and new choices to help reconnect the trauma-abused parts of your self back home to your real physical body, emotions, psychology and personality, without re-traumatizing. “As a childhood sexual abuse victim myself, I deeply understand the need to empower, encourage and heal without being preached to about morality, forgiveness or reconciliation with anyone who was responsible for the abuse. I am open and willing to talk through anything that needs to be brought to light and out of the darkness of secrecy, taboos and cultural dogma. I recommend this workshop for its honesty, integration work, emphasis on self-care and freedom from the triggers that seem to re-create trauma from the past.”-Lisa
The format is similar to the general LightBody Activation workshop but is uniquely focused on healing work for sexual abuse victims who were abused as children.
